My Story
Most finance functions are technically sound and strategically peripheral. They close the books on time, produce the variance report, keep the auditors happy – and then wonder why they're not in the room when the real decisions get made.
Transforming that dynamic is what I do.
I've spent 20 years inside finance – FP&A, commercial finance, controlling, country and regional CFO – across high-growth, high-pressure, data-intensive businesses. That inside experience taught me something that's hard to learn from the outside: the barrier between finance and genuine business partnership is rarely technical. It's structural, cultural, and – often – a question of what the CFO chooses to build the function around.
I work with CFOs who have already diagnosed the problem and are ready to act on it. Together we redesign the finance operating model around FP&A as the connective tissue: forward-looking, decision-relevant, embedded in the business rather than reporting at it. Where the data infrastructure needs to catch up – and it usually does – I bring hands-on experience deploying advanced analytics, predictive modelling, and data science capabilities that give finance something worth saying at the table.
